In the mid-nineties, a large manufacturer of police badges was looking for a custom machined graphite fixture to hard solder and precisely place the joint and catch.  The size of the badge and temperature required for silver solder required the fixture to expand and contract through the process.  

To accomplish this, I developed a unique technology to mass-produce these fixtures quickly and cost-efficiently.
